Exchanges & Returns
We understand that fit is personal.
Every Wear The Symbol piece passes multiple quality checks, is designed with our custom universal oversized silhouette, and is supported by detailed sizing guidance on the product page. Even then, we know that sometimes it may not feel right once it arrives.
If the fit or size does not feel right, you may request a one-time size exchange within 7 days of delivery. If the exchanged piece still does not work for you, a return may then be requested.
To be eligible, the item must be unworn beyond trial, unwashed, unused, and returned in its original packaging, with all tags intact, exactly as received.
For fit or size exchanges and returns, the sealed tag must remain attached. If the sealed tag has been removed, cut, damaged, or detached, the exchange or return will be declined.
All returned pieces are inspected once received. If the piece shows signs of wear, washing, use, stains, deodorant marks, perfume, odour, pet hair, alteration, or damage, the exchange or return will be declined.
Every returned piece is individually inspected, quality checked, re-prepared, re-packaged, and re-barcoded before it can re-enter circulation. Wear The Symbol does not operate on mass-produced stock inventory, and each approved return goes through a structured reverse-quality process before it can be accepted back into the system.
To initiate an exchange or return, email us at hello@WearTheSymbol.com with your order details. Once approved, we will arrange a tracked pickup for you.
Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method within 14 working days after inspection. A ₹249 return and handling fee, inclusive of GST, applies per returned piece. This helps cover reverse logistics, inspection, quality control, re-preparation, and secure processing.
If multiple items are returned from the same order, the ₹249 handling fee applies per returned piece, not per order.
If something is genuinely wrong, we will make it right.
Damaged Products
Every order is carefully checked before dispatch, and it is extremely rare for a product to arrive damaged.
If you do receive a damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@WearTheSymbol.com, along with clear photographic evidence.
Once reviewed, we will arrange a replacement at the earliest possible. If a replacement is not possible, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Approved refunds for damaged products are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, the final credit may take a few additional days.
If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of approval, please reach out and we will assist you.
