The Philosophy

Wear The Symbol began with a simple belief: what we wear can carry meaning. For Shayan Italia, The Architect, music became a way to express what words could not. The Symbol grew from that relationship, and leaves room for yours: the memories, people and moments music holds for you. The Overture is its first expression, made to be worn close to the heart.

The Provenance

The roots of Wear The Symbol are Indian and personal. Shayan comes from a Zoroastrian Parsi family, shaped by values of contribution, restraint, integrity and service. Those values guide how the brand is built and how people are treated. The Overture is made in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, with time and care, because the way something is made should carry the same dignity as the thing itself.

We make The Overture in considered batches and respect the time of the people who make each piece. Our responsibility is to the wearer, the maker and the meaning behind The Symbol. We want the care you see in the tee to be reflected in every part of your experience with us.
