Shayan Italia - The Architect

BIRTH

He, who never fit in

Born into a Zoroastrian Parsi family in Hyderabad, India, Shayan Italia never quite fit the mould. A Doon School alumnus, he carried with him the early influence of a mother who always told him: never be afraid to be different; never be afraid not to fit in.

LOSS

An unimaginable loss

When he was only just a boy, Shayan lost his mother to multiple myeloma, a devastating cancer of the bone marrow. A year later, he lost his father to multiple sclerosis. Before his mum passed away, she asked her husband, to buy Shayan a piano. She never lived to hear him play it - but that instrument would go on to change his life.

DISCOVERY

The journey of song

It was on that piano - his mother's farewell gift - that Shayan began to write songs with unusual depth and emotional precision. Over time, his catalogue has grown into more than 50 Class-A songs. International acclaim followed. But the work was never built on trend. It was built on feeling.

RISE

Wear The Symbol

For Shayan, it was never about fame, followers, or money. It was always about building something bigger than oneself - something with meaning, structure, and soul. From that ideology, Wear The Symbol was born: not just as a brand, but as a way for people to express the music, emotion, and identity they carry within them.

LEGACY

What remains

This was never about creating for the moment. It was about building something that could endure - through music, and through feeling. What began at the piano, shaped through tens of thousands of hours of practice, became a wider language of identity and expression. Wear The Symbol is an extension of that ideology, a world still unfolding...
